Re: 2/3rd Feb Scotland - FA Cup

what about this brechin v hamilton game guys?it went to extra time in midweek before brechin came out on top.....then the game was declared void because brechin played 1 ineligible player......plus brechin got a big fine.......hamilton will be glad to get another chance......but can they take it?they could well do.......queen of the south must fancy their chances to beat morton........queens are on fire at the minute.....the form team.......they must have a decent chance here......

Brechin are out of the cup, which is a shame as 5/6 for Hamilton was too big. Was against Hamilton last game and watched the game but would think Hamilton would win this one.

Be interesting to see how they price up Aberdeen vs Hamilton. Could be on the dons if they are above 8/15.

Is it just me or do Morton seem to be a tad overpriced @ 8/5 (ladbrokes)?

At home and coming off the back of a good win against Gretna, to a QoS side who have been pretty inconsistent this season.

Worth a look?

Message from Palmerston

Cappielow Park is playable this afteroon (Friday) but the forecast for tonight is a hard frost followed by snow tomorrow morning.

Covers have been laid on the playing surface today. Everything that can be done has been done to try to ensure the game goes ahead.

Contact will be made with Morton early tomorrow and hopefully by 10 a.m. confirmation of whether or not the game is on will be posted.

The Office at Palmerston will only be manned until 10-30 a.m.

There will be a pitch inspection at Cappielow at 0930.

Re: 2/3rd Feb Scotland - FA Cup

I think i'm with Parksy on the QOS shout.

Been watching them for the past couple of months expecting them to kick on after a poor start to the season. I was going to back them when the played Morton last time round but when I saw Dobbie was only on the bench I left it. He came on and scored a hat-trick as they won 3-0

Will have a look at the teams today before placing any bets but I think Queens will be one of my major bets today.

Aberdeen, again depending on team news, look a good bet at 4/9 against Hamiltion. Would be excited if Walker starts as he seems to have something about him going forward, which is what Aberdeen have been needing. With a bit of luck, he'll bring Severin to life who has been a major disappointment this season.

No other ties interest me in the Scottish cup this week, bar Queen of the South and Aberdeen.

Re: 2/3rd Feb Scotland - FA Cup

well ive already fisted in on Aberdeen this week, cant see jimmy calderwood passing up the chance to go int the next round and with the game v munchen coming up the lads will be all for impressing and keeping the good feeling the camp going

imo hamilton are weak just now and a poor transfer window for them means theyre going to need to work harder in the league. i think the dons will win today easily (3-0) and hamilton will bounce back in their next game
