Everton 5/1 For Champions league Spot
Quote:
Everton are 5/1 with Sky Bet to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season and consequently qualify for the Champions League.
The Toffees went above neighbours Liverpool into fourth spot in the table with a 2-1 win at Wigan on Sunday.
Wigan are now 11/10 to go down with Sky Bet, but as big as 15/8 with Coral.
First-half goals from Andy Johnson and Joleon Lescott were enough to give David Moyes' side all three points on a poor pitch at the JJB.
Everton were also cut to 7/4 favourites in Sky Bet's 'without the big four' market.
Manchester City are 3/1 in the same market after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham.
Carlton Cole produced a delightful overhead kick to put the Hammers ahead after eight minutes before Darius Vassell stabbed in an equaliser eight minutes later.
City are now 11/1 to finish in the top four with Sky Bet.
After away wins for the top three in the table on Saturday, Betfred have pushed out Liverpool to 50/1 (from 40s) for the title ahead of their home match against Aston Villa on Monday.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all came through their weekend tests without conceding a goal and remain 1/2, 11/4 and 11/2 respectively in betting for the title.
Betfred boss Fred Done said: "Liverpool are now 15 points behind the top two and even with their two games in hand there's no way they will bridge that gap.
"Their recent form has been far from convincing and it would be no surprise if they slipped up against Villa, which would surely end their title hopes completely."
