Re: FA Cup 9/10/11th November

Come on any tips. Quiet as a grave in here.

My tips are Team Bath to Beat Chasetown. Chasetown struggled against Radcliffe and then lost in the replay.

Oxford should beat Northwich who are rubbish. Oxford 4/9.

I'm thinking of Peterborough to beat Wrexham at 4/9.

Re: FA Cup 9/10/11th November

Leeds've been very good for me this season, picking up plenty of wins at not bad prices. However, today they're going to field some squad players - probably no Kandol/Beckford, for instance - so I'm not going to be tempted, especially as Hereford are taking the game seriously and letting their first XI have a go. Be warned, people.

Like the look of Team Bath myself as well as high flying Carlisle and Mansfield who have had a bit of form recently

Re: FA Cup 9/10/11th November

What do you think of Nottingham winning away to terrible struggling 2nd division Lincoln? To me this looks like a good one to take Asian -1 at 2+.

I agree with Carlislie, worth taking on -1 AH against poor Grimsby.

I do also like Peterborough to take on -1 AH against struggling Wrexham...

Would like to hear your opinions, thanks!

....also ready this info about missing in Stevenage:

Exeter City FC - Stevenage Borough

conference rivals.Boro 3th placed in the league.Just one defeat in six last outings and 6-0-3 away from home.Exeter just 6 points below boro at 8th place.Undefeated at home and only defeated once in twelve last outings

Boro has some problems for this fa cup clash

Adam Miller(15/5) Midf, doubtful
John Martin (14/1)midf, OUT
Mitchell Cole(8/1)winger, OUT
Alistair John(0) winger OUT
Ollie Allen(0) Striker OUT
Steve Morison(18/8) striker OUT
Mark Arber(20/3) def doubtful

Exeter winger Neil Saunders(1/0) is still sidelined with a knee problem.

Looking at the missing is some very importnant ones.Playmaker and boros star Miller is unlikely to feature tomorrow plus key left winger Cole as well as key striker Morison are both out as is cm Martin while Cd Arber need a late fitness test.Still boro can field a decent starting XI but i can see them having big problems with a in form Exeter side that scored five in their last league game with players such as Logan,Stansfield and Elam at bench from the start.

Worth taking Exeter on -1 Asian?

Re: FA Cup 9/10/11th November

Quote:
Torquay v Yeovil, Sunday 1515, BBC1

The first BBC FA Cup game this season has all the ingredients to be an absolute cracker as West Country rivals Torquay and Yeovil shape up for a ding-dong battle at Plainmoor.

Paul Buckle's Torquay side have made a great start to life at Conference lev
el and they are the favourites with the layers to make an instant return to League Two, sitting just one point off league leaders Aldershot after 18 games.

The Gulls did however slip to their first home defeat of the season in a 2-1 setback against Cambridge United last weekend and in the BlueSq Premier they have won just two of their last five matches, to suggest that their flying early season form has dropped off a little in recent weeks.

However, there will be no danger of the Torquay players not being up for this one on Sunday with the BBC cameras there and a full-house expected, but Yeovil are taken to put in a professional job and to head back to Huish Park with their name safely in the hat for round two.

Such is the competitive nature of League One football, Yeovil currently find themselves down in 16th spot, but with just nine points separating sixth to 20th it is more than fair to say that the men from Huish Park have made a solid start to the season after a summer of upheaval.

Russell Slade's men will have been slightly disappointed to have only bagged a point from bottom side Cheltenham in midweek, but at least that draw ended a two-game losing run and hopefully will put them back on track for the short-trip to Torquay.

Having been very unlucky to only grab a draw from another West Country rival in Bristol Rovers in October and having also beaten league leaders Carlisle that month there is no question Slade has built a solid League One outfit at Huish Park and with three away wins from eight games this season his men will have few fears heading to Plainmoor. As long as they can keep the home side quiet for the first 25 minutes, their quality should kick-in over time and the 13/10 with BlueSq looks too good to turn down.
