Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

Right I'll dive in first ladies and gents. I don't do Cups matches but I'll add what I can for the Ryman 1 South teams.

Leatherhead v Mangoes. The Tanners have changed thier manager in the last week and a half. Then proceeded to get beat 3-1 v Ashtford Town(Kent). The new man Ian Hazel formerly of Sutton United has bucket loads to do. Mangoes, a step up should have no problems overcoming thier hosts.

Tonbridge, one of the local teams fairly close to me, have changed manager this week. Dolby is on the Dole. New man in charge seems well respected by the fans.

Worthing v Walton & Hersham; you Ryman Prem boys should know all about these two teams as they came down last season. Both are expected to challenge in the 1 South. Both strong sides. W&H are perhaps the better side but Worthing at Home.....hmmm...tough call...

Gosport v Met Police; I'll add a link here, a nice little story for you all. Dover Athletic Unofficial Fans Forum :: View topic - True story from last night

On the same fourm you'll find a link of thier latest match which you'll be able to watch. MY boys play in white By the way and we're fecking great this season.

Gosport are the same level effectively as Plod, but readin that link would give me more confidence on the Home Win.

Dover Ath v Brackley; I'll be watching this one, my first Home game I'll get to see in 2 months or more. I've almost got a hard-on thinking about it. Sorry. Right. On paper away win, but Dover are ripping reams to shreds with poor defences, Brackely have conceeded 18 this term in the league. Make of that what you will.

Hope I have helped in some small way. Maybe I've put people off. Who knows.

My league odds come out in the ext couple of days, so see ya all then.

Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

Ooo, Sorry..

Corby T v Evesham, Watched Corby defeat Ramsgate in the FA Cup about a month ago. I was impressed by them, good strong physical side. Remember they had a left winger with a bad haircut, who was excellent that day. There manager and bench seemed to have a good understanding with each other.

See, that wasn't any help to anyone was it. No. Thought not.

Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

Weymouth v Aldershot
Weymouth captain Simon Weatherstone is doubtful despite returning to training following a spell of several weeks on the sidelines with a torn hamstring.

Justin Roberts is suspended but former Arsenal midfielder Paolo Vernazza has already served a one-match ban.

Aldershot are without suspended midfielder Lewis Chalmers.

Teenager Dave Winfield could make a return to the Shots defence and striker John Grant may be able to start following a problem with tendinitis.

Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

weymouth has been in some kind of form since their bad start to the season and you have to give it to them. 3 wins in the last 4 aint bad at all.

aldershot, a draw 2 straight away losses gives the impression that their having a bad time. but i find this a good time to get some value on em.

look at the records, 7-1-2 in last 10, and all 3 non wins were against burton, stevenage, and cambridge away. will you look at that?

aldershot dnb is my play of the night @ 1.7nish

Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

Soccer - Torquay/Cambridge - total Over 2½ (-139)
for the regulation time held on Nov 3 at 10:00am [pending]

First-place Torquay meets 5th-place Cambridge. Torquay 7-1-0 at home with 21-8 goal differential. Cambridge 3-4-1 away with a 12-9 edge in goals. Top teams playing against each other sometimes play carefully, but I'll take a chance here because a) Torquay is the biggest scorer/conceder in the league, and b) although Cambridge plays a tighter game, they consistently score and concede: they've scored in all of their last 10 games and kept two clean sheets in that time. Torquay have gone over in 9 of their last 10, Cambridge 5 of 10.

Re: Non League & FA Trophy - 2nd/3rd/4th November

Chatham Town 2.20 X3.50 Burgess Hill Town 2.55

Cracking value this on BHT away from home @ 2.55

BHT have lost the last three matches, v Met Plod, Dover & a ressurgent Dulwich, but in all three matches they've played well enough to win, just the post or crossbar several times in each match being the difference. , Chatham have beaten some good teams recently Dover, Kingstonian Met Plod but are shite at home. BHT have playoff aspirations this year and Chatham are exactly the type of match they must win if they are to acheive that. 2pts AWAY WIN
