Cliftonville at home and LIVE on Sky on monday night are a redicilous 3.20 against Linfield who have not been convincing except in trouncing Ballymena twice in the opening CIS league cup games, the sheepshaggers are poor so would not write much into these results. Another important factor is earlier this week in another competition C'VILLE easily beat Linfield 2-0 so how the big price on C'ville is i think the big bookies not understanding the present form.
#Watch the price drop before monday night.#

bet365 has Cliftonville at an amazing 3.40 now, believe me C'Ville had the measure of Linfield last season wining the home fixture 3-0
the draw is a possibility but i favour the red's to edge it.

Cliftonville v Linfield (Mon)
Peter Thompson is an injury worry for Linfield
Linfield striker Peter Thompson is a major injury worry ahead of Monday night's Carnegie Premier match against Cliftonville at Solitude (1945 BST).
Thompson suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat by the Reds in the County Antrim Shield quarter-final and has been unable to train since then.
Manager David Jeffrey will also assess the fitness of midfield pair Damien Curran and Tim Mouncey who have knocks.
For the Reds, Liam Fleming is back from suspension but Vincent Sweeney is out.
"This is a big occasion for the club but we have to concentrate solely on our performance on the pitch," said Cliftonville manager Eddie Patterson.
Linfield boss Jeffrey said his side had "dusted themselves down and licked our wounds" following the Shield defeat

FROM LINFIELD WEBSITE
At last, Linfield’s defence of their Irish League title gets under way with this difficult fixture away to Cliftonville. What a way though for the defence to begin, with the Sky Television cameras there beaming the game around Britain and beyond, it certainly promises to be a memorable occasion.
Despite all the hype surrounding this fixture though it must be remembered that there is an important three points at stake and David Jeffrey is sure to have drummed that into his players. David has a number of injury worries for this game, as previously reported on LinfieldFC.com, with Peter Thompson very doubtful and Tim Mouncey trying to shake of a knock.
Bluemen will need no reminder of our recent poor record against Cliftonville, most recently of course a 2-0 defeat against the Reds at Windsor Park last week in the County Antrim Shield Quarter Final. The Blues also only managed one point out of a possible six in league games against Cliftonville last season so the players will certainly feel they have a point to prove. A win in this game would get our league campaign off to the perfect start in one of the most difficult fixtures that we will face all season. Cliftonville showed last season that they have the ability to prolong a league challenge and the fact that they added to their squad in the close season makes them even more of a threat. That defeat last week will hopefully make the players all the more determined to go out and get the right result.
