Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Looks piss poor odds.

I like the ht draw/ft Celtic @ 4/1 various.

Can see a re run of the 1995 final.Truly awful game with nervy 1-0 win for Celtic.

Instead of Piere put in Venegoor.!

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Howdo betfly. Not much interest is there? I was looking at Celtic ht/ft 8/11 (or Celtic to score both halfes (same price) with Boylesport for an interest. I think it should be a walk in the park for Celtic. A poor game as you say and possibly a 2-0m win. Just looking for an interest bet to make me actually want to watch it

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Dunfermline to nick a shit game 1-0 or Celtic to breeze 4 or 5 but one of the bets I did like is 14/1 about Lennon to score.

If Celtic get a penalty will they not let Lennon take it ? but esp if they are a couple up ????

The climax of a gruelling season, I can't see this one being a classic, much like the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

Having coasted to the SPL title, Celtic start as massive 2/7 favourites against the Pars, who will be playing in the First Division next season.

However, Dunfermline, who won the cup twice in the 1960s, have ousted Hibs, Rangers and last year's winners, Hearts, en route to the final.

Stephen Kenny's side put together a strong run as they battled in vain to avoid the drop.

Many would find it impossible to lift the players following this disappointment however.

Kenny will be missing a few of his star performers with Tam McManus and Stephen Glass cup tied and Celtic refusing on-loan winger Jim O'Brien to take part.

Celtic meanwhile have a clean bill of health but will need to up their game following three defeats from their last four SPL matches.

Betting wise this game is a bit of a stinker. Celtic should win comfortably given the superior talent they can boast.

However, Gordon Strachan himself has admitted his side haven't played well since the turn of the year.

The key in this game is how Dunfermline perform after the heartache of relegation.

Despite seeing his side following out the division, Kenny has done enough in his short time in Scotland to convince most he is an extremely talented young manager.

With this in mind, I think Dunfermline will produce a good account of themselves and make it a competitive game.

For this reason, the Pars (+1) is the recommendation at a 11/4 (Bet365).

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Check out the odds for Neil Lennon 1st goalscorer and for anytime scorer

Ladbrokes have him anytime 14/1 where as coral premier bet and sporting odd have him at that or less to score 1st

and the price ranges from 12/1 to 50/1 for 1st goal

but with it being their Captains last game ?????????

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Hmmm...I think it would have to be atleast 2-0 with 15 mins to go for them to him a pen if they get one keg...thats a few too many ifs for my liking on that one altho the 14/1 is pretty big compared to the others.

Few bets for me, based on nothing more than what have been fairly consistent trends this season.

Firstly, and here's an interesting stat...Celtic have kept just 2 clean sheets away from home in domestic football

Both of those were early in the season in the league - and in all away cup trips(which I'll count this as too) they have conceded.

So for starters, let's have a pumped up Pars to score at some point.

Second, Dunfermline have scored just 2 goals in the first half of away league games this season...thats 19 away games and just 2 goals in 855 minutes of football. Not particularly handy for the bet above but it means that we should get to half time with a fairly tight match, maybe Celtic one ahead, before the game opens up a little more in the second half.

In truth I'm gonna wait to take Next Goal Dunfermline in running at around half time but just in order to get the punts up on here:

1.5pts 0-0 Half Time @ 4.00 with Bet365
1.5pts 1-0 Celtic Half Time @ 3.50 with Sporting Odds

4pts More Goals 2nd Half @ 2.10 with Stan James

3pts Dunfermline to score @ ......

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

Racing Post share same view of game.

Another bet i'd like is pars to score first and celtic to win but can't see it

RP

WINNING ugly is Celtic's strength and they may well do so again at Hampden Park today.

But it could be a far closer match than many predict with Dunfermline worth betting at 1.95 with a goal-and-a-half start.

Celtic haven't beaten a side by two goals or more since winning 4-1 at Livingston at the beginning ofFebruary – 16 games ago – and they have had so little to play for for so long that they may have lost their cutting edge.
Their three fixtures against Dunfermline this season have been decided by the odd goal and Stephen Kenny's preparations will be spot on as he seeks to stop Shunsuke Nakamura (right) from running the game.

Three of the last four finals have also weighed in under the goals and you can get 13-10 from Bet365 that the trend continues.

Recommendations
Dunfermline +1.5, 2pts at 1.95
Under 2.5 goals, 1pt 13-10

Re: Scottish Cup Final 26th May

ive had a bit of lennon to score at 14/1 and some 50/1 about 1st goal and 50/1 bout last goal so 1-0 celtic with lennon scoring would do me.

also had some of dunfermline to lift cup

Celtic to Come From Behind and Win

just 6/1 with Boylesport Betfly. i liked the sound of it when you said it.

Even money im getting for most goals 2nd half. Let me think here if i can go for a full whammy. game starts s;low celtic scores 20-30 mins and maybe another just before ht. Comes out everything quietdunfermline dont even look like scoring. Celtic get another and then dunfermaline get a consolation. 3-1 and a dull one at that. Sod it i might go against the grain and just shout on a screamer of a game.

over 2.5 at 4/7 is a bit piss aint it? makes you just want for a dull game. Surely the over should be more than that. Sod it im for some of kegman's Lennon and errr....

nope just dunfermline/celtic 3pts @ 25/1

Ive only got a singular bet Betfly. I can see that i probably didn't make that too clear though I suppose i better get out my chair and get the tv on. Scottish Cup Final's are a bit like Christmas to me in that you only really enjoy them when you were a kid
