Harry Potter

I just went to see the new one. The Goblet of Fire. It was shit just like number 2 and 3. The first one was ok.

God I can't even be bothered to write a critique. The film was pointless in the extreme.

@ ODM

Never seen a Harry Potter yet, butjudging by your comment Gett1n it seems i have been fortunate.

I have always considered giving it a try though as i was quite anti Lord Of the Rings thinking i would hate it etc until i finally watched it and fucking loved it whcih led to many hours of my life being used on watching each of the films again and again.

I like to leave films/tv series's until a few films/series's have past as i hate watching the first film for example then having to wait another 1-2 years for the next one to come out so waiting until they are all out i can just watch them in full one after another and its great

Did this with LOTR and 24. You seen 24 before Gett1n?

I reckon you would love it.

Re: Harry Potter

I have seen Harry Potter 1 and 2 and i thought they were good! Had the 3rd one on pirate dvd but the quality was so bad that i didnt bother watching it!.... But i would reccomend them.... anyways the new one is meant to be the best yet and since the characters are growing up the movies are too, getting more darker and complex.

If something akin to the Magic Roundabout or Mr Ben constitutes being 'dark' or 'complex' then it hit the mark.

Re: Harry Potter

Ive watched the first two , and i can say that they were great ( read the books also ) ....Its horses for courses , some folk will enjoy it, and boring sad folk with pretetious attitudes will dismiss it as mindless bollocks

Well thats my opinion , doesnt mean its right does it ?

Re: Harry Potter

Win - I loved the first one. I thought it was original and fun. But the others have been a bit pointless if you ask me. You know Potter isn't going to die as you know there are 6+ more books. You know when any other main character are going to die as bookies run a book on who it might be. You know there will be a sequel so you know there will be no end.

Where is the suspense?

And after No 1 - where is the originality?
