I'm just about to start reading Common as Muck! by Roy ' Chubby' Brown will let you all know whether its worth buying or not.

I quite like books about peoples lives,the best one so far is Norman Wisdoms book,now this guy has packed a lot into his life and did you know that during World War 2 he was one of Winstons Churchills telefonists in his wartime bunker

I've read quite a few sports autobiographies that range from superb to utter shite..

The two I would recommend would be John McEnroe's and Lance Armstrong's - both autobiographies that cannot be put down !!

Only ever read one Autobiograpy which was 'Mr Nice Guy' by Howard Marks.

Story of his drug dealing days. Absolutely loved the book and would be a great read for even non drug users.

I've read a few autobiographies over the years. Most recent one that was brilliant was Lucky Man - Michael J Fox. All about him discovering his Parkinsons and how he battled it.

I loved reading Sammy Davis Jnr's autobiography too. All about the Rat pack and being a black entertainer at a time when it was still very difficult. If I remember he was in the army too but that might be someone else's autobiography. I get confused easily.

Finished Alistair Campbells " The Blair Years " this afternoon.

Alastair Campbell spent the period 1994-2003 as the chief `spin-doctor' of Tony Blair, with job of putting him, and later the New Labour government, in the best possible light. This volume contains edited extracts from the diaries he kept during the period.

Fascinating book , but how much has he left out , can be a bit longwinded in parts , but not a bad read at all.
