Hollywood in Africa
When the material dries up at home you can always pack the steamer trunk and set sail for the dark continent. But when Hollywood drops the Charlie Allnut romance of a trip on the African Queen and concentrates on events that should wake us up and make us mad then you might just feel the Americans arenīt such useless pricks after all.
"Sahara" is about dumping toxic waste in areas that can ill afford to say no and "Blood Diamond" is about the disappearance of a whole countryīs diamond production in order to keep the global price at a sky high .........er..high More.... |

Re: Hollywood in Africa
Iīll have a look around for Hotel Rwanda, Komp, but I crack all the codes for the major European TV suppliers and take what I can get. Iīm like the Greek cafe next door; I have to stick my plug into someone elseīs electricity supply in order to make a decent burger.
