There are a number of things that stand out about the all new Mansion sportsbook. First of all, the integrated sports betting exchange and fixed odds book is a unique concept. I particularly like the fact that you can shop between the fixed odds and exchange prices. You can create your own arbitrage, hedging your own bets. Players will also like the fact that they can play casino games and multi player poker using their sportsbook account.

Mansion has come to market with a bang. The company is spending a fortune to attract new customer and build a profile in the USA, UK and internationally. Mansion has spent a huge £34 million on sponsoring the Tottenham Hotspurs football team.

Re: Mansion

I believe that their sportsbook is still open Crowie. I have still to do the 'Exchange' reviews but i will remove the mention of it in the post above. That was just dummy text for now. Cheers Crowie

Re: Mansion

Aye, Sportsbook still up and running Komp but haven't looked at it for ages.

Its a shame the exchange went tits up because for a while, although it was obvious they were seeding their own exchange, they were beating Betfair in price on most markets and it was 0% comm when you backed a bet and only 1% when you laid. You could tell they seeded as practically every outcome in every market had nice round £5000's sitting waiting to be backed or laid

They were also unfortunate with their timing when they tried to crack the US betting market. I remember they had that great offer where they were giving you a free $1,100 bet on the opening NFL game of the season, basically if it won they paid you the winnings, if it lost they refunded you the loss. A superb offer, probably one of the best I have seen but unfortunately a few months later the US passed the anti online gambling bill and any good press/marketing they got out of that offer in the US was now pointless.

They also had those mental/great (delete as appropriate) free bets where you can back against Man Utd each week and they would refund any losses (after Man Utd stiffed them on shirt sponsership) and then also the back Tottenham and we will refund any losses offer as well after they agreed a deal with Tottenham.

Probably one of the most generous bookies for offers like those two and the NFL one, wish they would do a few more like that now. Sadly their marketing dept who dreamt those up have probably all now been sacked/executed and more tighter people/people who know what they are doing are now in charge of finance

Re: Mansion

It was The Steelers, mate

I too took them up on that NFL offer a few years ago, and continued with the Spurs bets they did. I also dabbled in the exchanges as they used to offer decent odds.

I'm actually glad i saw this thread though, as it has made me £270, in a roundabout way

Explanation... They did another £50 free bet for the Superbowl final this year (think it was bet on handicap or total points, and if lost, they refund stake). Firstly every time i tried to deposit, it was rejected. Customer Services kept saying "keep trying" then eventually admitted it was a fault on their behalf. I eventually got deposited (after trying for 3 days) on the day of the Superbowl. I took the Giants +lots, and it came in. But when i tried to withdraw it was a massive polava again. The withdraw wouldn't work, then the website wouldn't work, so many problems. I got so pissed off i just lumped the whole lot on another bet, which came in and returned 270ish. I spent another few weeks to Customer Services trying to withdraw this to no avail. Kept getting all the way to the final withdraw screen, then it would time out or "failure, contact customer services".

Only seeing this thread has reminded me of my winnings, which still sit proudly in my account! Just tried to withdraw them now, it seems to have gone through fine, but time will tell, if i sign in tomorrow and my money is back in the account!!

All in all, was a great bookie, now an annoyance.
