5th Eviction

Twist - Head of house gets elected this weekend, who then controls the house as its split into Heaven and Hell.

Basically, a twist engineered to break the power of B-Block, as they were just picking off the luxury bedroom.

Eviction looks a lottery then - get on at fancy prices tonight is the game...managed to lay Belinda @ 2.12 already

Re: 5th Eviction

Slight hunch there will be a double eviction this week too...

Just a theory, but it's fairly obvious that B-Block has way too much power at the moment, and left unchecked will pick off the rest from the luxury bedroom and be left with a fairly lop sided house in terms of personality.

Twist this week means a bit of the balance can be restored - but one eviction won't cut it - B-Block has added Sara and possibly Maysoon over the past week.

In addition, the producers aren't keen on meddling this year, and I cant see them wanting to mess with noms for more than one week, atleast for the time being.

So, a double eviction to tick all those boxes...just a theory....let's see...

Re: 5th Eviction

Quote:
It is going to be Heaven and Hell for Big Brother's housemates next week.

The famous telly house will be split in half by the show's bosses.

One group will live in luxury and enjoy treats.

But the unlucky other wannabes will have to suffer.

The BB gang will be asked to choose one person to become "Head of House" today.

For the whole of next week, that person will have the power over everyone.

The lucky candidate will win immunity from eviction from the house next week.

They will also decide which of the gangs the other housemates will join.

The head of house will also:

Make the housemates in "hell" do all the tasks while the others lounge around.

Lock the "baddies" in the glass pod in the garden and make them nominate in front of everyone else.

Stick folk in the BB padded cell - which was unveiled by the show's host Davina McCall, 40 - on opening night.

Choose when BB's tokens - for things like hot water, hair straighteners and treats - can be used.

The sensational stunt is part of a Heaven And Hell Week planned by BB chiefs.

However, the chosen one may find that their godly new role comes at a price. Those sent to hell in the BB house are likely to turn against him or her, because of the power they will be given.

And it could put them in the firing line for eviction the following week as revenge for the things they have forced others to suffer.

A BB source said last night: "Will being head of house be a dream role or a poisoned chalice?

"They will have complete power over the others.

"But power can corrupt.

"And they could find out it can be lonely at the top if everyone turns against them.

"Now the game really begins."

The head-of-house stunt has been used in BB USA.

However in their show the HoH gets to pick who should go up for eviction.

Re: 5th Eviction

That was just a little punt for the price of a few tenners as the market went a bit crazy when it was opened, I've already layed it off.

Will do a proper run down(and hopefully some bets) on Sunday night.

Re: 5th Eviction

Well if it is these 2, then my first instinct was a landslide eviction against Belinda..

However when I reappraise the situation the less I think it will be so one-sided. Certainly Rex has his fans, but as with many characters, he also has his haters, and haters will come out in force for Friday's eviction vote.

I'm sure he'll also start ramping up his desire to leave the House, he's had enough, needs his girlfriend etc which probably won't help his cause

Is Belinda particularly disliked to the extent that people will be driven to vote her out? As I've said before I have missed a lot of the past few shows, but from what I see - apart from her snoring she doesnt appear to be that 'offensive' or annoying? I just get the impression the neutrals seem to do well against 'character' that swing the pendulum both ways..

Anyhoo that said, I think and hope that Belinda goes as I am stil a bit of a Rex fan. However it may well be a bit closer than the odds will initially state..

Re: 5th Eviction

Interesting thoughts trick - and yeah, I would agree really. Rex is just a bit bored, and now that he's up I'd imagine he'll do what he can to get himself out. He's got his bit of restaurant publicity, time to go.

Few pros and cons either way. Belinda going - BB get rid of a bit of deadwood, Rex fans will be out in force(if they are clever enough to work out that a vote for Belinda saves Rex ), Belinda is a non-entity, and wont have many fans. Rex going - a bit of the B-Block/Luxury balance is restored, Rex will give BB plenty ammo if they want him out, and altho the forums love him, I imagine he isnt particularly well liked by the majority of the BB voting public.

It's basically a popularity vote on Rex - I'll catch up on last nights highlights but could well be tempted on his price later on.

Totesport go 1/6 Belinda...7/2 Rex.

Re: 5th Eviction

Will stick in a lay of Belinda to go at 1.03/1.04 - doesnt look like this one will be close but the polls were always going to be slightly skewed for this one.

Re: 5th Eviction

Arite then, let's stick it in bold.

0.25pts Rex to be evicted @ 38

Solely on the premise that imo Rex's support is much stronger on the forums than it is amongst the wider voting public, and I think that will have skewed these odds slightly(altho enough to mean it's him going is v unlikely.)

Re: 5th Eviction

Jaysus, that's quite a booiing for Belinda. She's gonna be baffled if/when she leaves - she's not my type of person but I can't see that's she's done anything to be hated...the BB crowd are really ott these days.

Re: 5th Eviction

It's brilliant. I've been catching up on all these evictions and every fucker gets booed. Mother Teresa would be booed walking out of there. "Boooo boooo fucking slut, boooo" The general public are right bitchy bastards. So glad we aint part of the general public. Disgusting people.

Re: 5th Eviction

Belinda goes, but only with 65% of the vote, so quite a bit closer than the markets were predicting(over 75% was odds on.)
