I suppose Mario must have polled some votes that I thought Rex would get. Mario and Mo were my 2 back up choices though.

Judging by the last 2 shows and the editing in those, I think theres a good chance they will edit against Mario and for Rebecca. Will it be enough though? Theyd have to really do a number on Mario and only show Rebecca pissing about with Luke to pull it off I reckon. It could happen though, there were other housemates I would have preferred Rebecca be up against thats for sure. A small point though is that Mario does have fans, Rebecca really doesnt.

Those tote prices look about right to me, not sure I'd take lower on him. He's not well liked but he wasn't well liked in week 1 and he still sailed through against Steph, who did a lot less than Bex has done.

Yet another female evictee is probably not great news for BB(altho Mario going wouldnt be either, and with the 3 new women the house is balanced again) but its what the public vote for again and again and I can't see this one being any different.

I don't have an online account with totesport, however I am tempted by some big odds on Mario. I think I'll wait and see what other prices are out there..

I may be misremembering from last year and I can't find anything that suggests otherwise (I know I lost a bet on Betfair betting on David being evicted!) but I'm pretty sure that when there were TWO double evictions (David vs Kara-Louise vs Shanessa vs Tracey and Jonty vs Kara-Louise vs Tracey) the first person evicted on the night was who Betfair paid up on (Shanessa and Tracey respectively).

Mario's price of 7/2 will probably collapse but I dunno about odds-on. If Channel 4 and Endemol want to be paid on Totesport's 9/1 they'll do a job on Mario alright.

I should say tho that I agree that the Mario price will probably fall...as with week 1 all forums and polls will probably be rammed with the anti-Mario brigade going into overdrive, polls showing him ahead etc, so if the prices remain at around what they are now(tote have just cut Mario I think) I'll be laying Bex initially with a view to backing back later in the week.

There is absolutely no chance that BB will want to lose Bex this week. They want to keep Luke and Bex together as long as possible, as their Golden Boy (almost saturated coverage of him like they did with the ghastly Nikki Graham) is now occuring, and they need to keep them for the so called comedy value. Have started to show the fun side of Bex over the last 2 days, while at the same time have enough ammo to hang draw and quarter Mario.
Think this will be very close, and as much as I hoped to get a decent price on Mario going, this appears to have evaporated. Even so any price of 5/2 or better would be worth taking, as I have a strong hunch he could be down to 11/10 within the next 24 hrs

Looks like it...from the sounds of things tonight, Mario is gonna have a shocking edit, given some of the things he said about Lisa...the way things are going he'll be odds on by the end of the day.

I'll cover my Bex punt with 4pts Mario @ 9/4 with Skybet.

I still don't think he'll go though - Bex has been quiet the last few days, but I'd be fairly certain she'll hit the self destruct button again once she knows she's up.

4 polls out all show Mario going. Still think this will be close, but feel Mario is expendable. Saving Bex will be similar to Jade Goody, who overcome an early threat of eviction to make it to the final.
99.9% sure that Belinda, Belinda,Belinda will have the majority of nominations next week, and will most likely go. Bex surviving over Super Mario and his 14 million fans (according to him), will have the rest to scared to put her up after this week

Buggar..Never got chance to play a bet on Mario as I don't have an online totesport account (when he was 7/2) and never really got access to the internet afterwards... as I am working away... (Although Elgin is a nice place - if a bit north..!)

Still.. I've missed tonights Hightlights, but still feel that Mario is the housemate to go.. Both generate emotions which in turn generate votes, and although there are claims of support - nay a fan club (partly self-proclaimed) for him, that aint necessarilly gonna automatically mean votes against Bex and lets face facts - generally he is an annoying twat..

Mario came off worst in tonight's edit - they didn't really show any footage of Bex getting nommed. Will be similar tomorrow night.

Got a nice position on Mario going, but having said that, I still think it will be Bex and will reverse my book later this week when I think there isn't any more mileage in the Mario price - Mario also got unfavourable edits against Steph and survived comfortably(altho on the face of it seems to be starting from a worse position this time...)...and I just think we could see the silent majority flex their muscles again here, and at what will be juicy prices come Friday.
