I want some weird event to bet on but I don't want to commit to watching this. You think I could get by on the odd highlights show and youtube clips?

BB is always a wierd one - you certainly need to watch a bit, but also I think it's very easy to watch too much, and if you do that its very easy to get lose a grasp of the bigger picture. I never watch more than any highlights shows - if you know what you're looking for then I think you could get by on that and a few youtube clips.

Otherwise, just let Trick and I ruin our lives for the next six weeks and jump on our punts, and then blame us(him) when it all goes wrong...

So let's see, for tonight, always a crazy market and easy to make a great book or horrendous book from within a few seconds.

So things to look out for - nice, fairly quiet(but not complete wallflowers) people - controversial, outspoken people don't win. Nadia was about as argumentative as a winner is likely to get, and she didn't really have many 'nice' competitors. They'll fly under the radar long enough to be in contention, whatever happens. Oppose the loud, controversial ones.

Look for people that will relate to the lowest common denominator - all through the years, the slightly dim contestants(aslong as they aren't controversial ie Jade) seem to build up a support simply by being dim - Brian last year overcame some mega reality TV trends to win, something built up on his almost unbelievable stupidity. (The almost equally vacuous twins in second...)

And watch out for any overreactions in the market - it's a long long process and there's plenty twists and turns to come.

That'll do - the winner should come from the lot we see tonight going by usual reality TV form(altho Biggins and Bryan have trumped that in recent times) and first impressions are always v important.

I watched Biggins for about 20 minutes before getting on him in the jungle. I knew he'd go all the way and when he came first I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to lump on him. His willingness to put awful things in his mouth and swallow really sold it for me.

So yeah. It's ok to be casual about it for me I suppose.

Ok, the live show is delayed by 40 mins it seems...here's the early report on whats happening:

Our reporter at Borehamwood is now in the middle of a Big Brother launch show. The show launched around 8.20pm the shortly afterwards the first housemates enter the house.

The housemates arrive in A-Team style vans and the first housemates to come out are a Big Brother Couple, Mario and Vicky.

The next housemate is Luke, he was in the audition show, he has big ears and is 20!

Stephanie 19 is the next housemate to enter the house, we reported this a couple of days ago, she is the Girls Aloud Reject. While entering the house she was badly booed.

The Big Brother couple, Mario and Vicky are NOT a secret.

Davina has also revealed that there will be a big twist at the end of the show.

Rachel who is 24 is the next housemate to enter the house.

Dale is the next house to enter, he is 21.

Luke - could be a character, but looks far too confident to get any sort of support. Wont endear at all. Bood already infact.
