Paddy Power Offers Money-Back On Reality Show's Runner-UpThere's just seven days left until Big Brother hits our screens for a ninth year. The mother of all reality shows will kick off on 5th June and already bookies are predicting this year will be the biggest yet. Irish bookmaker Paddy Power are estimating more than £1million/€1.25million will be bet on this year's show with an industry figure of £15million/?18million expected to be riding on the outcome.

On a show where literally anything can happen, it can sometimes be difficult to predict the winner in the early days. So to help make the difficult decision a little easier Paddy Power are offering to refund bets on the housemate that finishes second in this year's show.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said: "Big Brother is the most unpredictable reality show of all. Aside from the fact you just never know what the housemates will get up to it spans over three months making it hard to spot a winner. This year we're giving our punters the opportunity to put their money where their thoughts are with the guarantee that they'll get their money back if their housemate is unlucky enough to be runner up."

Paddy Power is offering a wide range of betting to Big Brother fans. Betting is even available on what cliché host Davina McCall will use first on launch night - with the famous BB catchphrase "You decide" a tempting 16/1.

Thats a good wee offer on the 2nd place - Paddy's are always handy for that kinda thing.

It's 3 in a row for the men at the moment(and thats counting Nadia as a woman!) so will be interesting to see if the producers fancy a female winner this year. Yet again they'll have to try very very hard if they do. Will have a proper look at the relevant stats tomorrow.

On first glance that 1/2 on a female being evicted first might even be too big - I think I'm right in saying that a female has gone first every year so far(8 in a row!)
