Bobby Zamora has scored 3 goals in the last two games,he scored against Preston in the league when the hammers went down 2-1 at upton park.
Zamoras goal minutes are avaliable to buy at 18.
David Nugent a buy from 2nd division Bury in january has found the net 9 times in 20 games,which includes 1 against the hammers
Nugents goal Minutes are avaliable to buy at 18

An example of player goal minutes:
Nugent scores one goal in the match in the 5th Minute = 5
5 is then deducted from 18 buying minutes = 18 minus 5 = 13 points loss

Nugent scores in the 5th and 27th minute total goal minutes = 5 + 27 = 32 minutes.
18 Buying minutes are then deducted from the 32 total goal minutes gives you 32 minus 18 = 14 points profit

I assume Zamora scoring was a good thing for you? About 40 points profit I guess?

Im the same Gettin. thought the forum is worthy of being in its own right as there is lots to know etc. I'll be getting into it for the new season so there will be a lot of questions asked.

Congrats George , I'm in the dark about spreadbetting , stayed away due to potential to lose a lot of money. The warning when trying to join the spreadbetting firms was off putting for me .That was about 18 months ago , since then I've learnt a lot about sport betting but not enough!- I am willing to listen though .

Evening Boys,I will try to answer your questions as best I can,if you can bear with me as I only play a few of the markets and my knowledge of spread betting is very basic.
Gettin asks which spread bet firm I would recommend,I have only one account and that is with www.sportingindex.com. They have settled bets promptly and the website is always running and prices updated regularly so no problems there so far,they also have a play for fun page on their website to help you understand the different types of markets and to help you understand the index.
The are many examples I can give but lets look at my bets today
Player goal minutes (a total of the minutes in a game a player scores in a match)
David Nugent Buy@18 he failed to score and therefore he amassed no minutes.
I lost 18 times my stake
Bobby Zamora Buy@18 he scored in the 57th minute result I win the difference between 57 total number of goal minutes and 18 the index minutes 57 minus 18 = 39
so I won 39 times my stake.
I cannot highlight the importance of understanding the index,I have a stop/loss account it help me regulate losses,some markets are very violatile and you can accumalate heavy losses,so it would be an idea to looking into opening this type of account.
When placing a bet check the worst possible senario,the more wrong you are the more your losses accumalate.

Evening Mickey,yes it scares the hell out of me,I have had my account for less than a year,and will only play the football markets at the mo.If you play the less volatile markets like say corners, even if there is say 20 corners in a match which doesnt happen to often and you went for under 10 corners the most you would lose is 20 times your stake if there was no corners in the game.Hope you understood that

Thanks for explaining it all George - think i will leave it with you for now to be honest. Im interested but i find it very dangerous and im not financially sound enough at the minute to be taking part just yet. Maybe after the summer though.

I've been spread betting for about 5 years, very profitable if you're brave and make a profit in general.
