I've been saying this for a while now conan. Not just red hot favs but favs in general. It stands out more on the horses where an evens fav generally available with a bookie will be odds on on
Betfair but the higher down the list of prices you go on the same race, the better the
Betfair price will be in relation to a bookie.
Same with football. Anything around 5/4 or less I will nearly always find a bookie better than
betfair. Whereas if the bookies rate each side at about 6/4 then you're likely to get around 2/1 on one of them on
Betfair.
I put it down to the fact that most people with a
Betfair account make it their first port of call but you've got to shop around as all the little bits you get on the better prices really do add up over the course of a year and can be the difference between winning and losing in the long run.
