That's what's happened with the 260 figure but before you laugh and say that nobody is going to lay for 259/1, it's there to con people who don't know what they're doing yet. That means people like you.

If someone is laying the unders at 259/1 doesnt that mean if it finishes over i get....£4 but if it finishes UNDER he gets 259/1?

Oh, and the other problem with backing/laying in your game is that there's no liquidity in it. In real terms that means that no fucker is interested


If you click on where it says "under 2.5 goals" you'll see the total amount matched so far is just £58. If you do the same on the Blackburn Liverpool game you'll see that the figure is over £64,000 which obviously makes it easier to get any bets matched.

Well sort of. The bloke who put the price up isn't "laying" the unders, he has put up a price to back the unders and is waiting for some idiot to match it. Whoever takes the price is the one who ends up wanting over 2.5 goals.

Right, here's a handy tip for you but just remember not to press any confirmation buttons to place your bets yet

If you look just above the pink prices you will see a button that says "options"

Click on it and check the boxes as below

Then if you type a number into one of the boxes as if you were placing a bet it tells you what the outcome will be if you win/lose. This means that if you did happen to take a stupid price this would warn you before hand (hopefully)

Now going back to your example if you tried to back over 2.5 goals for £3 at a price of 2, if wouldn't let you because there is no 2 available. What would happen then is that your bet would be unmatched and it would appear on the RIGHT HAND SIDE (where it currently says 2.2 for £5) in pink and tell someone that there is £3 available for them to lay at a price of 2.

I'll have to come back to this later ODM as i really still dont get it Im just pressing buttons and i can't take any of it in. So if i was to put £2 up at 259/1 i would have to have £600 in my account? I dont get that or any of the pink bits ODM. Ok i'll leave it for now and just have a wee play about with it to let it sink in.

The pink bits are the exact opposite of whatever you do when you try to back something Komp.

If you want to back PSV at 1.94 for £2 you won't be able to because your example shows that the best price available is 1.93.

Instead, your £2 will go onto the right hand pink column which will then show that there is £6491 avaiable for someone to lay at 1.94.

So im interested in the overs in this game. To me i look at this market and i think.....'oh thats a shitty price of 1.47 on the over 2.5 and £4 at that price is no good to man nor beast. theres also not much money available to back the 2.5 at any price. So now i think 'instead of BACKING the OVER i could LAY the UNDER.....right thats where im confused i think.
