Working for a bookmaker

Sorry if this is misplaced. I recall there was someone on here who worked for a bookmaker. I'd really like to know a bit more about what it's like. Anyone got any insight?

there is worse jobs, its a great student job but as for a career move I wouldnt reccomend it. Unfortunately I am still working in a bookies but hopefully thats changing very soon.
