Anybody noticed that Skybet are shit?
I used to use Skybet a lot but it's struck me this week that they are, way way behind the decent bookies.
It started about a month ago when I found that the normal odds I could expect to find for a certain market, which I won't name, had been cut drastically. Then, Skybet came up in conversation the other Saturday in the pub and when I checked the Racing Post comparison for the football, I found that they had the (joint) best price for just ONE game out of the top three leagues and the FA cup. Finally, this major betting week of the Cheltenham festival, the special offers, improved places and money back bets have been conspicuous by their absence. All this leads me to believe that Skybet have either been taken over (by some clueless cunts) or they are in trouble and are about to be taken over. They must be the absolute worst bookie in my portfolio at the moment. Anybody any info? |

Re: Anybody noticed that Skybet are shit?
The do seem to have a monthly free bet offer but they were terrible at the festival , they offered a couple of races at 110%, not something I would be interesed in and some kind of placepot deal which was mindboggling in it's blandness.
I find they do offer markets on the non league divisions that the other big companies dont bother with. Other than that their poker is crap and it's generally slow and labourious to place a bet or even navigate back to a page you might want to see after placing a bet, if you get my drift. I prefer paddypower out of all of them |
