Re: Screwing the bookies on their opening account offers
It would seem that for simplicity purposes the best ones to go for are the smaller amount 'free bets'. For example, when i opened my ladbrokes account they gave me a £20 free bet. You only needed to wager it once, granted you only got to keep the winnings, but the chance of losing was offset by laying on betfair. Ok you only make like £20ish, but thats not bad for 5 mins work. And if you can find 50+ bookies that are offering the same 'free bet', well, its worth doing.

Laddies and Hills regularly do £100 offers in the Racing Post on a Saturday and with Cheltenham coming up they could well up those to £200. Have a look at Money Saving Expert Forum. There is a lad on there called Donglemouse who does a "Matched Betting Diary", has been doing it for sometime but he is up £17k on offers (new account and reload bonuses) and £31k in total. And although you say you have done them all I bet there are a few in there you haven't done. Just recently I have done bonuses on Gold Victory, Wauw Gaming, Noxwin, Ascot Sports, a Noxwin reload bonus, Jetbull and Strykke. Ohh and btw, play online bingo, have made approx £200 so far from online bingo free money offers ![]() |

skinnyman, everybody says that.!
if somebody told you there was 31k buried in a field and gave you the spade, would you say you didnt have the time to go dig it up? |

Re: Screwing the bookies on their opening account offers
Not sure when he started doing it skinnyman but as a second income, it ain't half bad! Possibly a couple of years ago. Plus remember this is all via matched betting or arbing, so there is, well 99% of the time, no risk, your guaranteed a profit whatever the outcome.

Re: Screwing the bookies on their opening account offers
Think it's taken Donglemouse about 18 months - 2 years. Worth noting that some of the bookies he used in the early time are dead now and some of the others who are skins of each other have wised up but there's still plenty of cash out there if you go looking.
They've all kinds of ideas for making money through various gambling bits 'n' bobs over there. Thing is though not many of them are actual gamblers and thus don't know what they're doing (some do and the mod of the forum Tim_L i think is pretty good at spotting people who really haven't a clue and stopping them posting complete arse). Having said that I saw one thread (after it had all gone tits up) which ended up with several people losing thousands (biggest was £12k) because they thought they had a good dutching system on a market (first goal scorer i think), they didn't understand that half the money wouldn't exist if the player didn't start and used the implied winnings to back others so actually lost more than they had in betfair to start with (which i must confess hadn't occured to me that you could do). The matched betting is sound just remember the old saying about anything else you spot if you look over there "if it looks too good...blah blah etc.." |

That incident made the Racing Post I seem to remember - and there is possibly a bit on here somewhere about it. |

Re: Screwing the bookies on their opening account offers
I checked last night and he started in October 2005. So thats £31k, tax free, in less than 18 months. I guess in that case its worth a shot! Hell it takes a nice big slice off your mortgage! As im writing this is can see £1500 worth of free bets advertised down the right hand side of the screen.
And even though some of the bookies he used are long gone i bet there are more starting evey month than there are closing! |
