Observations On Poker - For Video

Ive downloaded about 30 educational poker vids and ive been spending my time watching them the past few weeks (not hanging about here) I was thinking that it might be fun to make my own one 'lifting' their general set up and appearance. I want to make it go beyond just the normal vids as well obviosuly they have all been done before. I want to mention all the silly wee things like folks raising your blinds and you snapping at them with a re raise and errr other things.

anyhow ive started to make a list of ideas as i play but i'd love to hear your thoughts and maybe i can add them (with your consent) Its a bit of fun and i'll get it up on youtube. If you have anything that i could use be it funny or just plain realistic then please mention it here and i'll put it in.

play some 50$ short handed turbo games and record yourself giving commentary? you might be surprised how well you do, and it will sure be entertaining... (and good for others to analyze ur game)..

I keep meaning to make some vids as I am crushing sngs and going very deep in mtts, however there is no point reinventing the wheel...

what vids u been watching? I have done all the pxf vids (awesomeage), stoxpoker (good for very high stakes cash games), Crunners, and wanna check out realpokertraining (todd arnold's site).. wonder if anyone has these all on torrent .....

Soz Raisin. I got them all off pokerbay. My favourite one is the 2004 Poker Conferance. My main man Mike Caros hosts it and there's loads of guest speakers. Its about 4 hours longs and ive watched it about 5 times already. Im in the process of uploading them all (done quite a few already) but i wont reveal them till i know that i can post them without people nicking the address.

If you want i'll send you them on a a dvd as data raisin by post.

I even watched rounders for the first time and whilst i was laughing at the shittyness of it all i couldnt help but love the ending when he flopped a straight v John Malchovic. I really want to do a beginners guide vid just nicking all the bits from these vids. I was gonna film it at work on the boardroom table. watch this space as its a happener. ive started to make my film about my 2010 wsop bid. I just film wee bits about me and my poker as i go. hopefully by 2010 i'll have enough footage to make a good film about it all.

there's an old rip that was 80% of the cardrunners site floating around on the `net.. also I found the 1.8gigs of stoxpoker videos (off thepokerbay) very good.

Im still thinking on all this. My WSOP 2010 bid is at th centre of it and im considering calling myself Davie Chan. Im shite at acting and Davie has no character. All he can be is a bumbling scottish person. Maybe thats just what he has to be then. Maybe he likes to think that he's a bit better and snobbier than what he is. He's gonna have to be a pro and he's gave up his wife and kids and now his mopping job to further his poker career and wsop bid. fcuk this is sounding a bit familiar. Why is he caled chan? Maybe i could sellotape my eyes to look like a Chan. That would hide my blobs i suppose.

Actually i could actually be chinese as chinese people are easily offended when people imitate them so a little bit of controvesy could give Davie chan a wee push. No offence to Chinese people btw. Davies just card daft. FLUKING HELL!!! he'll exclaime and he can go scripto. I can show my ignorance and bring in elements of Japan for jocular effect. Aye i think Davie Chan has just been born. Well as soon as i get some sellotape from Spar.

I m starting to realise that Winrew and it's leading to a new found freedom for me in life. I do things as i don't care. I shout at policemen for effect and i'm not shy. Just shite on video Sod it i was gonna go to bed there. I should stop playing these $10 games or else i will have no bucks for Davie Chan and not feel compelled. i was thinking of maybe making it an interview thing Winrew. TDP are offering sponsorship for someone to go to the wsop 2010. Maybe be likeThe Apprentice and have a few folks playing off against each other. I could write it funny i think but the performing it will be a prob. unless of course the cider does the trick. Sod it I AM getting drunk. Its frioday after all.

thats about me. I got to admit even John Gielgoog (?) would struggle with them. I'll play it by ear but the more i watch poker vids Winrew the more i see how easy it would be as everything is 'common knowledge' and i can just copy the basics from whah theyre saying.
