Small profit yesterday, onwards and upwards
Florida Marlins @ Pittsburgh Pirates - Over 9.5 Runs (1.84)
The NL East leading marlins are hitting the ball quite well and should get some joy out of the struggling Matt Morris, whos given up 26 hits and 13 runs in just over 16 innings this season. The fish can tee off on anyone but are patient enough to leave off the wild ones from Morris who has shown no command at all this year. 6 of the Pirates last 7 games have gone over (mainly because they are easier to score on than an Essex blonde) and the previous 3 games between these teams this season all yielded 9 runs or more.
San Francisco Giants @ Arizona Diamondbacks - 5 innings, Under 4.5 Runs (2.00)
The Dbacks offense took time to get going in its previous 2 games and could well do so here, Correia goes for the inept Giants and opponents are hitting just .225 off him. Owings has been electric this season adding a nice changeup to go with his fastball so he should get some joy out of the Giants. Im not convinced either bullpen has what it takes to keep this line down all night so under 4.5 first 5 innings is the play.
