Re: Arsenal v Everton

7-0 with minute to go, think can say this one is in the bag

Aye, saw your reasoning Gettin and had considered 2) and 3).

Re the Cup final, there are a few players playing for places in that team. V Persie or Reyes or Bergkamp. Campbell or Toure or Senderos. Gilberto Silva or Fabregas or Edu. That competition, I felt, would ensure no let up tonight. Confidence is high since start of Feb and they have been playing some lovely stuff of late but none better than tonights.

Plus the team news on Everton - Wright, McFadden, Beattie, Watson all in the side. As I tried to get out in the post, last week was their "cup final" and they won it and the mental concentration, exertions of last few weeks and months could all be forgotten about now. I fancied them to be "on the beach" tonight, they didn't have to win or even get a result.

I should have had the post up earlier, I was actually on at 1.975 with Bet365 but only went onto them after discussing with lad at work just before we headed home. By the time got all done and dusted at home, bairns to bed etc it didn't leave much time. Always fancied Arsenal to win and with the -1 handicap the worst I felt I was going to get was my money returned for a 1 goal win therefore to get taking the handicap to get the 1.975 was worth it.

Btw, just for info, other thing we looked at, at work. Arsenal have won 13 home games this season after tonight and in 11 of them they have been leading at HT. That was my work mates angle but he ended up leaving it. He was gutted when I phoned after 12 mins and told him 2-0 Worth noting for next season though.

Edit: Despite Evertons humping tonight I would think twice about opposing them this weekend. They will get a great reception at Goodison and it will be a fantastic atmosphere. That might carry them to a result.
