All depends on how the table is playing. I think every table is different and you have to adapt to how hat able is playing.
If I know there is a guy at the table who likes to squeeze and punish the limpers whilst he is in posistion then I will happily limp with AA looking to get a couple of callers to build a nice pot for this "squeeze guy" to make his move. I can raise it up 2.5-4x the BB and everyone folds and I take the blinds.. I dont care how big the blinds and antes are if i only take the blinds with AA then I am not happy.. complete waste of a situation. I'm happy to limp in get a few players to come along which gives me extra equity when i repop the squeeze guy from the limpers aswell..
Limping works great against agressive players as they always see limping as weakness and they look to take you off you're hand with any 2 cards (good players anyway)
I think the biggest tool in online poker is the chatbox.. Id say about 75-80% of my earnings have come from my actions in the chatbox.. i make people believe what i want them to believe. Obviously it does'nt work on everybody but I spend a few levels trying ot suss out who i can manipulate through the chabox and it works well for me.
I have made people fold QQ & KK preflop whilst i have been holding junk and also call off their whole stacks with bottom pair or A high on a 4flush 4 straightening board all because to my "speech play"
