Bordeaux is in mini-crisis as they have won just one of their last five league games and conceded four at Rennes in their last away fixture. At home they have lost in medweek to Auxerre eventhought they were leading at ht 1-0.
Bordeaux full-back Mathieu Chalme said about their situation "So after the Auxerre game, of course we're all disappointed, psychologically, it's tough.
"But we need to bounce back. We don't have time to dwell on it which is a good thing. We have to show we have the character to go and get the result against Monaco, like we did last season.''

Monaco is on bad run themselves lost four of their last five, their only win coming at relegation-threatened Boulogne.

Injuries/suspensions:

Monaco have suspended left-back Djimi Traore as well as Park Chu-Young (hamstring) and Juan-Pablo Pino (hamstring) through injury, but Diego Perez (groin) should be available.

In Bordeaux France defender Michael Ciani returns from the ban he served against Auxerre, but fellow centre-back Marc Planus injured his knee in that defeat and is out. Midfielder Alou Diarra is doubtful.

h2h shows that Bordeaux like to play Monaco - they have won 8 out of last 9 of them in the league.

Lyon got better of Real once more time, but this was first in knock-out round and against odds.
Now they are for sure over the moon and fatigued. Interesting will be to quote their coach Mr Puel.
Match vs St Etienne is derby game. "There's tiredness of course but the derby remains something very particular for the supporters, for the directors. There are not many players here anymore who grew up at the club but there are still quite a few who know the value of a derby."It's good to continue with this type of match"
Puel warned agains overconfidence and stated how important this game is, also pointed out good display by St Etienne vs Lille in their last home game.

Lyon have some injuries and doubtfull players:
defender Jean-Alain Boumsong will be sidelined for up to three weeks with a calf injury, while Jean II Makoun is also sidelined for the derby.Michel Bastos remains injured while Lisandro is also a doubt.
St Etienne have one new injury worry in Yohan Hautcoeur, who has joined Yoann Andreu, Mustapha Bayal and Christophe Landrinon sidelines.
H2h shows that out of last 9 games in Lyon 7 were wins of Lyon and 6 of them by exactly one goal, so nice value.
