That Jobcenter site doesnt seem to have much in my area Horsham or with in 20 miles of here. Ill check out that Monster site you said when i get back from probation and give it a good crack. I think i have a fairly good CV but you never know theres always room to improve on it, One thing is as i have a criminal record for ABH do you guys think i should disclose it or hold it back from Employers if they dont ask or arnt going to do a CRB check?
I wouldn't disclose it unless they ask you, like if you applied for a school/airport job or anything like that.
I certainly wouldn't have it on my CV or anything.

A lot of forms have it done as a tick box and you explain under it.
I would probably find out 1st if they require a disclosure form and if they don't I would just be sly and tick "no", you can always say it was a mistake if it is brought up later. If they do carry out a disclosure check, just tick "yes" because they will find out anyway.
The company should tell you if they carry out checks, but they can't carry out checks without you 1st signing documents authorising checks, so read them first before deciding.

The only real companies that carry out disclosure checks are like schools/airports etc, anywhere where you have a responsibility over the public really.
