Ireland Re: Gaelic Football and Hurling betting

This week I'm on Waterford @ 7/4 Ladbrokes (Saturday 2.30 pm) to beat Carlow in football. Waterford have won 2/2 so far with Carlow on 1/2 having lost last week to promotion favourites Limerick. I wasn't expecting such a big price on Waterford. Waterford have one or two players returning from injury and having already won away to Leitrim the trip to Carlow will hold no fears. I see it as a 50-50 match.

Also in hurling I've taken Carlow @ 7/2 Ladbrokes to win away to Antrim. Carlow beat Antrim only last week in the Walsh shield, the losers group of the Walsh cup. Admittedly the league is a different story but 7/2 is a huge price on Carlow who also beat Limerick recently, a bit of a scalp for Carlow despite Limerick's current hurling crisis. Carlow +4 @ 11/10 Paddy Power is also worth a bet.

Also in hurling Dublin are worth a bet at 6/4 to beat a severely understrength Waterford.
