Re: GAA (Irish Gaelic Football)
May as well keep all the GAA bets in here I suppose.
Will try Monaghan again this week @11/8. Obviously there is a big danger of a Galway backlash after last weeks poor showing against Mayo but this is a talented Monaghan team and they have the ability to outplay the tribesmen. It looks like Padraig Joyce isn't going to make it which is good news. Monaghans defence is a bit of a worry, they let in 3 sloppy goals last week and with Michael Meehan in opposition they'll have to make sure they tighten up.
Bit of needle in this match as Joe Kernans old assistant Petyer Grimley is now a coach at Monaghan. Grimley apparently was the brains behind the great Armagh teams in the last decade. Don't think Grimley and Kernan are on the best of terms.
Donegal HT-FT V Laois @4/5- Laois beat an average Tipp side last week but they'll find this weekends game to Donegal a lot harder. Donegal beat Westmeath away from home without any fuss and strolled to a 7 point win. Easy home win.
