North America - Superliga

24/06 - 01:00 Chicago Fire v Chivas USA 2.05 3.50 4.20
24/06 - 03:00 San Luis v Tigres UANL 2.40 3.36 3.78

I've taken San Luis to beat Tigres tonight.

San Luis lost their opening game to the Chicago Fire, who are currently undefeated in the MLS and taking this competition very seriously having used a virtually first choice line-up. It was a pretty even match, with both teams having their chances to score. San Luis have their full squad in the US for this match and are looking for a victory here to keep their hopes of qualifying for the next stage alive. This is the second match for San Luis under new manager Juan Antonio Luna, who came in after their poor league showing this year, finishing 15th of 18 teams in the Clausura. This despite it being mainly the same players who won the 2008 Apertura.

Tigres are playing this competition with a severely weakened team, full of reserve and youth players. They beat Chivas in their first game, but Chivas are currently in poor form in the league, having lost their last three games, are experiencing a bit of an injury crisis. Despite having taken the lead, Tigres only managed the victory after Chivas were reduced to 10 men in the second half.

I'm willing to take a chance on a full and motivated San Luis squad, in only the second game of manager Juan Antonio Luna's tenure, beating a young Tigres team at the odds available.

San Luis to beat Tigres @ 2.40 (Ladbrokes) - 3 points
