That just about sums it up for me.

From day one (in my opinion) I dont think Owen has loved football. He was just very good at it and made a good living from it.

He doesnt have the passion of say a Teddy Sheringham or Nev Southall to still be playing when they're in their late 30's and falling to bits. Football has given Owen a good living, but it is not his life.

I would question his drive, determination, fitness, loyalty and ability to bounce back to his self of 10 years ago. Put quite simply, it isnt going to happen.
