Do you think the going has a significant impact on the sectional times and therefore the finish times? Or only the finish times?

I can't really get down to the bookies to check the going if I place bets on betfair. I might create a thread on the betfair forum asking for the going at various tracks, when I get my account verified since I can't post until then.

I try and avoid tracks where the going is often -40 or worse, which I think Swindon is. I find this messes up the accuracy of finish times, so I'm going to try sticking with Hove, Romford, Sheffield and Hall Green where the going is usually +20 to -20.

I'm not sure how I'll investigate the effects of going on a dogs chances, will cook something up then post again.
