Re: Swedish Weekend Football
Two matches that will go a long way to deciding what happens in top and bottom of the Allsvenskan.
Djurgården-Malmø
Sundsvall-IFK
Malmø will be the second best side here on paper. However, there's a huge amount at stake and since it's the live game tonight, might be best to hold off...
The reason IFK are 2,10 at Sundsvall is also connected to the importance for both teams. Add to that the fact that Gøteborg have had a habit of falling down at the final hurdle in the past.
However, the argument for the away win is that the side has made successful transitions this season that could break the old patterns including a step up for home grown players but mostly, I think, because they've been well coached.
The IFK defensive record speaks for itself and Sundsvall will have to break a back line that's conceded 6 goals in 10 away games (3 of those at Hacken in June) though it must be said they have had some decent results against the top sides at home and I'll probably leave this one alone.
