Hello one and all,

Todays selection never got a run, Kanpai is still going into the notebook....

However, onwards and upwards...lets look at beginner Chases.

3.20 Exeter looks a good one. Tot O'Whiskey gets his first outing over the big sticks.

Reports are that he has schooled very well. He also has the kind of career for a good future chaser...

5 bumpers 3 wins - two defeats were in Champion bumpers at Cheltenham and Punchestown!!
8 hurdles 2 wins - ran well in Sunderlands hurdle at Sandown

Now off chasing.... Plenty of scope to become a very nice chaser. Only 7 years of age and relatively lightly raced.

However, he is likely to go off at shortish prices and on debut he must be taken on... I may well get my fingers burnt!!

Poker De Sivola - another nice hurdler, but very quirky and in my opinion will need to show a different temperament to win over Chase fences.

Quws Law - wanted 3 miles over hurdles but looked very progressive, and is lightly raced. I think this is the newcomer to have on your side, rated 119 over hurdles and surely will improve for the switch to fences.

Killyglen - Another very lightly raced sort, 4 runs over hurdles and now goes chasing. Another very live contender in this race.

Then we have 2 raced chasers of note - Golden Child + Jass

The former looks a good bet to be placed whilst the latter has no forlorn hope.

I however am going to put forward Quws Law as the selection
