Aye, a real shame, RIP Tommy.

He was still playing when I first went to watch Celtic, some midfield then, TB, Paul McStay, Murdo MacLoed and Davie Provan.

Great career at Celtic. Liked his comment about the time he had agreed to sign for Killie towards the end of his career. Celtic had a mid season friendly v Ajax. TB said he didn't want to cry during the game so he went out to warm up beforehand and spent 20 mins running about crying his eyes out as he knew he would never play for Celtic again. A true Celtic man.

Did well with Killie and then back at Celtic as manager, bar the brillance of Andy Goram, would have stopped Smiths 9 in a row Rangers side. 1 defeat all season and we still couldn't win the league.


51 year old, just terrible.
