What exactly were they supposed to do to stop it?
Rangers fans are responsible for their own behavoiur just as I am and you are.
Manchester decided to create a caqrnival atmosphere for the travelling hordes , treat them like adults, then 1 screen brakes and they use this as an excuse to riot and fight the police and themselves.
Incedently the engineer who tried to fix the screen was pelted with bottles and decided to fuk off home and who can blame him.
