Three teams are automatically promoted from this division - where the top four teams play each other on Saturday, and leaders Milton Keynes Dons will clinch promotion if they avoid defeat at Stockport - while even if they lose, the Dons' promotion will also be confirmed if Hereford fail to beat Peterborough. (If Milton Keynes win and Posh lose, the Dons are champions). Meanwhile, Peterborough themselves will be promoted if they win.

Hereford and Stockport are guaranteed at least a play-off spot, and Rochdale and Darlington can book their play-off places if they win on Saturday. Wycombe and Chesterfield are set to battle for the final spot.

Two teams will be relegated to the Blue Square Premier - with Mansfield and Wrexham currently adrift of the rest of the pack. Wrexham will be relegated if they lose to Notts County on Saturday and Dagenham & Redbridge avoid defeat at Rotherham - and the Dragons are also down if they draw, Dagenham win and Chester avoid defeat.
