Re: Will Mrs Doubtfire make the Ryder Cup Team

Sorry THoP if you are expecting me to be a member of the campaign to save Monty's career then I am afraid you are going to be disappointed.
Doesn't really matter which sport we are talking about, but governing bodies need to ensure that their sport moves on, and invitations to their tournaments allow them to have an influence over the field. They are entitled to give these invitations to who they like. Surely there is more benefit in giving them to players who have a future in the game and can be inspirations to young players in their countries, rather than a player who (and i did put this earlier) was a great player, but couldn't win it in his prime so won't win it now or in the future. I also can't see many kids in the UK looking to Monty for inspiration either.

Back on to the Ryder Cup topic i notice the fun is starting earlier - Azinger has come out and said that he thinks Monty should play, of course he does, nothing like a bit of sh1t stirring and the weaker the team he faces the better for an American point of view.
