Re: 5th April Coca-Cola League Championship

Scunthorpe v Sheffield Wednesday

Now I saw Scunthorpe at Leicester City last week and wasn't overly impressed. Leicester aren't exactly a great side but we managed to win 1-0. It was almost a do-or-die situation for Scunthorpe but they didn't scrap as much as I thought they would. I thought the last 10 mins would be played in the Leicester penalty area but it didn't happen like that and City held on pretty comfortably. After the game Scunthorpe manager Nigel Atkins actually admitted that 'Some of our players aren't good enough to play this level'. Their fight is almost over.

Sheffield Wednesday, on the other hand, are scrapping like crazy to stay up. They're unbeaten in six, although they've drawn the last four. I really can't see them losing on Saturday, but I'm not sure they're going to win; a draw wouldn't be a bad result for them, all told.

A combination bet on a draw and a Wednesday win works out at about 1/2. Not a bargain but, as I said, it's difficult for me to see Wednesday losing.
