Spacecats Greyhound Lays

As I've often mentioned to anybody who will listen, liquidity on the dogs is non existent until 5 minutes before the off, which is a total nightmare for punting reasons if you arent likely to be around to watch your money go down.

Thankfully theres Betfair software available to help ease some of the pressure to greyhound punters stress levels, though setting up these programs to place bets at certain stakes and times is easy, its alot harder to predict what price youll be taking.

I use BetTraderPro, its free to use normally and you can unlock dozens of extra features for a few quid, which I've done. I can leave the computer on during the day and itll place bets for me a minute or two before the off, which is when I'm likely to get a realistic price.

The problem is of course the price (pushing aside the obvious problem of actually picking the mutts), so I can only best guess it, the easiest way to do that quickly is to use the RP's guide prices. Now these can be all over the place, but their guide price favorite is usually fairly strong in the betting, as are those they tip to win on their form pages, which are IMO the best on the net (and free).

I lay dogs (oo-errr), usually those who are likely to trap slowly and cant compete with the early boys even with a clear run. I'll be picking dogs that the RP put in as their guide favorite, to try and avoid getting mental prices when I cant stop the computer laying them for me!

So I'll pick a few dogs tonight and set the machine up to lay them to win £5 each, liabilities could be anything!

Anybody else lay the greyhounds and want to join in? We could have a mystery price competition to see who judges the markets the worst
