Re: American Presidential Primaries

Well the media blitz on supporting Barack Obama seems to be working as he's back into favouritism! Today's Bettingzone Market Moves:

1500: Barack Obama has been made clear favourite to win the race to the White House by William Hill after winning three more states in the battle for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

The Illinois senator won in Louisiana, Nebraska and Washington state and won caucuses in the US Virgin Islands and Hills have cut him from 6/4 to 5/4 favourite to be named president.

Republican front-runner John McCain has drifted out slightly from 6/4 to 13/8 after losing out to Mike Huckabee in Kansas and Louisiana, while Hillary Clinton is now out from 9/4 to 5/2 third favourite.

Obama is 4/7 from 8/13 with Hills to get the Democrat nomination, with Clinton 5/4 from 6/5.

McCain is 1/50 favourite (from 1/100) to win the Republican nomination with Hills, who have cut Huckabee from 16/1 to 12/1.

The Democrats are 1/2 favourites to win the election, with the Republicans 6/4.
