About Owen. He is exactly what Newcastle need in a goalscorer. They would really start going places if they got him in although as a fan i wouldn't be too happy to hear a player saying "If Liverpool don't want me then i will go to Newcastle on loan".
The loan obviously meaning he really isn't interested in Newcastle and is just using them as a way of getting first team football so he is ready for the World Cup then after that he will be in shop window and move on to a bigger club.
