Re: UEFA Cup 8th Nov

A few words for the Larissa v Zenit game.

Larissa is not doing well at the Greek championship at the moment. Moreover they are not playing at home as they play their european matches at Volos, which is nearby but not friendly enough so a packed house is not expected today. Larissa did manage a clear win against Blackburn in the previous round and they were not that bad, despite defeat, at Everton at the first group stage game. Influential defender and captain of the team Dabizas was subsistituted at the last greek game because of a slight injury but he will probably play in this one.

Loads of speculation concerning Zenit. They play a do or die game on Saturday for the Russian championship away at Saturn. If they win, they are champions as it's the last game of the season. So the first though is that they would probably spare some players for that game. However, local bookies have come out with really low odds (and low money accepted also) for their final game so there is some speculation about that game. If somehow they know they will win on Saturday, whatever the case, then I would say that they might win against Larissa also as, they are at least one step ahead qualitywise.

Too many unknown factors for this one, tough one to call. I will keep on looking for some information regarding Zenit's line-up (as Larissa'a is more or less known already) and I may have a small bet before kick off.
