Shrewsbury v Rochdale
Shrewsbury boss Gary Peters will be without defender Sagi Burton when his side host Rochdale.
The former Peterborough man was forced out of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Lincoln after just 13 minutes with a calf strain and is set for a fortnight on the sidelines.
He was replaced by Danny Hall at Sincil Bank but the 23-year-old faces competition for the shirt from new signing Marc Tierney, who is available for selection after completing his free transfer from League One side Oldham.
Striker Derek Asamoah is hopeful of winning a place in Peters' squad after completing an hour of reserve football in midweek after a month out with ankle ligament damage.
On-loan Tranmere winger Mike Jones is pushing for his first start after coming off the bench to score on his debut last week while fellow loanee goalkeeper Scott Shearer starts the last league game of his current deal from Bristol Rovers.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill is set to name an unchanged line-up.
Hill suffered his first defeat since taking over permanently at Spotland in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers but is expected to keep faith with the XI that started the game.
Nathan Stanton returned to the side last time out after a groin strain and should continue alongside Rory McArdle at the heart of the defence.
Lee Crooks also made his return against the Pirates as a second-half substitute after a knee injury and could push for a start.
With the Gay Meadow pitch flooded by the River Severn this week the game is in jeopardy and a decision will be taken on Friday morning.
