Can't say that I like the look of anything much in today's Superettan fixtures.
Orebro were one of the pre-season favourites to return to the Allsvenskan at the first attempt, but it's not gone well for them so far.
Degefors are a newly promoted team who will be aiming for survival in the Superettan this year. So far they've managed to get results against the weaker sides in the league. However the class difference has shown against the so called bigger teams...
21-05-05 Brommapojkarna vs. Degerfors 3 - 0
08-05-05 Norrkoping vs. Degerfors 1 - 0
24-04-05 Degerfors vs. Trelleborg 0 - 0
17-04-05 AIK vs. Degerfors 1 - 0
They're not getting annihilated but they are still getting beaten, with the exception of the home draw with Trelleborg.
From what I've read elsewhere Orebero are still missing some forwards from the first team. I guess this is reflected in their relatively poor goals tally of 9 goals so far. They managed to get a decent away draw to Trelleborg last week but they've still to prove they've turned the corner.
There should be a class difference between these teams, but it's insanity taking odds of 1.64 (
betfair) for the home win. Neither do I think Degefors will win, but I do see more value in X2. I guess if I had to bet I'd nibble on the under 2.5 goals @ 1.7 with
sportingbet.
My money will be staying in my pocket for this one though.
